Description

The University of Mississippi Medical School was established at the Oxford campus in 1903. Starting in 1905, medical students were listed in the Ole Miss Annual. The Medical School moved to Jackson in 1955. The 1957 medical school class was the first graduating class from Jackson who earned a 4 year MD degree.
